Video Submission Requirements

1) Incorporate the phrase “Shopping Annuity” into your video (by saying it in the video).

2) NEW CONTEST REQUIREMENT! Nominate two or more of your fellow UnFranchise Owners (can be business partners, friends, or family members) to create their own #ShoppingAnnuity video by calling them out in your video. Call them out by name, and make sure to tag them in the caption of the post!

3) Be creative and have FUN with it! The more creative, funny, thought-provoking, or unique your video is, the more likely it is to get noticed and maybe even WIN one of 10 tickets to #MAWC2015 that are up for grabs!

For more information about the contest, please view this post on our blog.

How to upload and submit videos on Instagram

Note: I used a Samsung Galaxy S 5 to upload my video, so if you have a different phone, keep in mind that it might look a little different than the examples I included below.

1. Film your video on your smartphone! Remember to include: the phrase “Shopping Annuity” by using it at least once in your video, and nominate at least 2 people to create their own videos by calling them out! Note: Don’t forget that Instagram videos are limited to 15 seconds long, so keep your video short, sweet and to the point!

2. Optional: Edit your video using your favorite mobile app. Feel free to use any apps you’d like to edit the video or add music or sound effects (not a requirement, but a lot of fun to do if you know how!).

3. Upload your video to Instagram. Select the video in your photo library, and then select the option to share it on Instagram.

4. Optional: Edit your video using the tools in the edit portion of the Instagram app.

1

A) Choose a filter for your video.

B) Crop your video (if your video is more than 15 seconds, make sure to use this tool!).

C) Choose a cover for your video (a default image for your video that people will see before they click on the video to play it).

D) Click “Next” to add a caption (skip to this step if you choose not to edit your video with options A, B and C).

5. Add a caption to your video. Remember to include: The phrase “#ShoppingAnnuity Contest” (if you don’t use the #ShoppingAnnuity hashtag, how will we know you created a video?!), tag @marketamerica, and tag the two friends you called out in the video.

2

A) Use the phrase “#ShoppingAnnuity contest” in your caption.

B) Tag the 2 friends you nominated in the video.

Note: if your friends don’t have Instagram, feel free to just use their name in caption, but make sure to let them know (via Facebook, email, etc) that you nominated them!

C) Tag @marketamerica.

6. Click “post!” On most phones this looks like a little blue check mark in the upper right hand corner.

Whoo hoo, you just entered our #ShoppingAnnuity Video contest!
