Let’s face it, sometimes you experience fear and apprehension when you try something new. For whatever reason, many of you may feel this way when we talk about using social media. Many of you are scared about using this medium, but rest assured – there is tremendous power and potential in social media.
Social media is at the heart of the concept of social shopping – so much so that we’ve integrated it into our state-of the art shopping platform. Whether you like it, social media is here to stay – and it is our intention to leverage this exceptional tool, and lead the social shopping revolution.

Day Three of the 2012 Market America World Conference proved to be an incredible finale, with a special guest appearance from Eva Longoria, and incredible presentation on Social Media from our resident gurus, Steve Ashley and Loren Ridinger. We had the chance to watch Joanne Hsi win the Jerry Siciliano Award – which had to be one of the most touching moments of the entire event.
We also were given an eye-opening insight into the amazing cutting-edge advancements we’ve got in store for Market America and Shop.com – with a great presentation from our COO, Marc Ashley.
Day Two of the 2012 Market America World Conference was an incredible experience. Seven time Grammy winner and international superstar Gloria Estefan set the stage for this amazing day – which featured some amazing presentations.
From Steve Ashley’s informative look at how mobile technology is growing by leaps and bounds – and is changing the future of commerce, to Jim Winkler’s Tips about how to get the most out of Webinars and Call Workshops – there was a tremendous amount of information presented to help our distributors grow their business. After all, that’s what events like World Conference are all about!

This is what it is all about - the staircase to success. Many think the people who succeed jumped to the top by doing miraculous things that you can't do – but that’s not the case. They didn’t jump that high or do the impossible - no one can jump that high! They simply found the secret staircase.
The staircase helps you break down large, long-term goals that seem impossible into more manageable monthly goals. But the truth is, no one can take it a month at a time. A month passes and you have missed the mark or have done little or nothing. The monthly step is too big to take all at once.
So you break it down into weekly goals which seem much more manageable, and add up to the monthly goal. The weekly goal adds up to the monthly goal, and the monthly goal adds up to the yearly goal.
However, you can't even do a week at a time without missing the mark. You can only take it one day at a time! When you break the weekly goals into daily steps, it becomes much more doable. That is how it is done!
When you start breaking down the larger goals into more manageable daily goals, you begin to see how it’s possible to make it to the top of the staircase. At next week’s World Conference in Miami, I want to share this with you. I will teach you how to climb the staircase of success step by step!
