2014 NYC Marathon: Ready To Run with Duane McLaughlin
This past weekend my son Duane showed the heart of a champion by competing in the 2014 NYC Marathon. Marathons are a grueling test of endurance and strength, but when you are running for someone else that race can take on a whole new meaning. This weekend Duane did just that, running for the Keep a Child Alive foundation to help support children and families in the battle against HIV and AIDS.
I am so proud of Duane for yet another great performance at the NYC Marathon, because he does all of this to help others. It’s this kind of selflessness that makes Duane such a special person, and really helps bring attention to this incredible cause.
