In The News: Market America and SHOP.COM are Spotlighted with Major Branding Opportunities

The past few weeks have been quite a whirlwind for Loren and I, from our World Aids Day Benefit with David and Victoria Beckham to our fabulous Art Basel celebration at Casa de Suenos in Miami, followed immediately by a week of nonstop meetings with Market America | SHOP.COM’s Strategic Planning. At first glance these events may not seem connected but in fact they each contributed to our success in regards to branding, media exposure, and networking.

Helping others has always been a major focus for us, and the same can be said for our company Market America | SHOP.COM. In keeping with the holiday spirit and our efforts to always give back to the community, Loren and I were absolutely honored to have the opportunity to host a very special fundraiser with David and Victoria Beckham for World Aids Day. As cosponsors of this event, SHOP.COM and Market America received some great media exposure – but this event was all about giving back. In all, this special event raised over $200,000 for an incredible organization, Born Free.


Loren and I were thrilled to be a part of this event and love seeing our company get involved with amazing causes like Born Free. A special thank you to David and Victoria Beckham for utilizing their star power for a fabulous cause, as well as our friends at Hublot for donating a one of a kind timepiece which we auctioned to help raise money for Born Free!

Raising money for a noble cause is always such a humbling and rewarding experience, and really makes you feel good about the impact you’re having on the world. Another impactful event followed later that week as the stars descended upon Miami for our world famous Art Basel celebration! This was yet another fabulous branding opportunity for our company as SHOP.COM co-sponsored an event with DNA Atelier as we showcased some fabulous artwork from rising star CJ Hendry. As you can see SHOP.COM and Market America really capitalized on Art Basel and made the most of this marvelous branding opportunity. Another key aspect of this event was the fact that several of our corporate leaders were in Miami preparing for Strategic Planning, so this became a fabulous networking opportunity as well with key players in many different industries interacting and discussing possible collaborations with us. We work hard but play hard too – and when you do it right it’s hard to even tell the difference!
