This past weekend I had the opportunity to speak to over 3,500 excited UFO’s at our Mideast Regional Convention in Ocean City, MD. Having the chance to speak with you all was a tremendous honor, and I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

Around this time of year, a fresh crop of college graduates leave school to begin careers they hope will ultimately lead to the American Dream. In the past, college grads were essentially given the keys to the kingdom, with a plethora of job offers to choose from and a wide variety of highly-rewarding careers at their fingertips – but times have changed.

With high unemployment, the job market is as cutthroat as ever – making it harder for college grads to land the job of their dreams. The interesting thing is, even if you manage to find what you believe to be a “dream job,” you’re still basically just lining the pockets of those you work for. What’s even worse is the unbelievable amount of student debt college grads have amassed – just to have the chance to make someone else rich.

As recent college graduates are finding out – the 45 year plan is a one way street to nowhere. Many graduates leave school with a tremendous burden of debt – and according to this recent article from the Huffington Post, there’s a good chance many grads will still carry $20,000 of student debt into middle age. Talk about a bad 45 year plan!

Making Director within one year is possible – but you don’t get there by jumping. You get there through hard work and dedication, and by building a team of like-minded, highly motivated individuals around you. The task of finding good people for your team is a critical part of success, and becomes easier when you break it down into monthly, weekly, and daily goals.

The IBV momentum is really building! Advertising dollars are rising, and IBV is gradually increasing on products – but more importantly the IBV accumulating up the lines is increasing. The past weekend’s Southeast Regional Convention was quite an awesome experience for all of us. We had a packed house in St. Augustine, and rocked with thousands of excited UFO’s. The passion and enthusiasm was incredible to witness! We’re experiencing so much new growth – this is a very exciting time to be a part of this incredible company!

Entrepreneurs become involved in the UnFranchise Business for a variety of reasons. Whether it’s to generate ongoing income or to find more free time in our lives, we all have a reason – a WHY. One WHY that has always been at the forefront of my mind is my family. Family drives us to succeed, and is the main reason we all work so hard.

We’re always working hard to provide our UFO’s with the tools they need to find success as an entrepreneur – and one of the best ways to arm yourself with the tools for success is to attend our upcoming regional conventions!

Excitement is really starting to build as we prepare for our Mexican launch on June 8th! As you can see from these pictures, our Mexican leaders are working hard with the field to spread the business and prepare for the big date. Teamwork makes the Dream work – and I couldn’t be more impressed with our team here! Every day they continue to grow and duplicate – this is such a great time to find contacts in Mexico and grow your business. We are ready for June 8th, and hope to see you there!
