Right Place, Right Time

There is no doubt Market America and Shop.com Powered by Market America are at the right place at the right time, with the right opportunity. We are leading the parade! The most efficient use of your time right now is getting people to World Conference in Miami to show them how they can leverage and learn about exactly what is in the following article.

Let me ask you—what do you do with material like this? You should be sending it to select people followed by a phone call. It should be posted on your MaNetwork, Facebook, and Twitter pages. You should be sharing it with your partners – especially the ones that need stimulating.

If you are doing nothing with it, you are not doing the DAILY RESULT PRODUCING ACTIVITIES and are asleep at the wheel! Check out this article that appeared in Time Magazine last week related to the growth of e-tailing – and come to World Conference to learn about the latest features and technology of SHOP.COM!

“Click To Buy”

Traipsing around crowded shopping malls to fulfill loved ones' wishes can bring out our inner Grinches. No wonder more and more shoppers are forgoing long lines at packed stores to shop from home instead.

Online holiday sales rose 15% vs. last year, compared with only 4% for brick-and-mortar stores. Consumers are now doing a third of their holiday shopping online, according to an International Council of Shopping Centers poll.

The rush into e-tail is crushing traditional outlets like Sears, which announced in late December it would close up to 120 stores because of disappointing holiday sales. The key to success in the e-tail race? Being a catchall for customer needs. Cybersavvy firms like Amazon, which lives and breathes the Web, are cleaning up on one-stop shopping.

U.S. online holiday sales

2006 $24.6 billion

2011 $35.3 billion

LeBron James, perhaps the biggest celebrity in all of sports, a man poised to be a billionaire and prop of the economy of whatever city he works in, decided to move there too.
