There is no doubt that an office structure corporate culture is needed to get things done, but everyone doesn't have this luxury.  Even when you are able to work within an office structure, there is a necessity to be at some meetings and to keep a schedule of conference calls and video conferences and web conferences.  However, the UnFranchise business is the perfect example of the freedom one can enjoy and actually be more productive than sitting behind a desk.  This phenomenon allows me to be with my family and friends on trips but still work and never get behind.  It allows me to go to important events or do seasonal things I love without interfering or interrupting my work or my pace and progress in the business.  I hate when people say we are on vacation because the cool thing and reality about it is that I actually accomplish more business  when away on my “business-retreat and recharging getaways” than  I do when I am at home or at the office.  I choose to work in paradise or whatever environment I select week by week.  The fact is that I do not need to fight traffic or drive into the office everyday or be anywhere specific.  I can work from home, Miami, NY, Utopia II or III, Aspen, Cabo San Lucas, or even on the road in my car (I have a driver so I can work more).  The same is true on an airplane or train.

Right now I am in Jamaica with Loren, Marc Ashley, Maria, Kamal Hotchandani, Amber and Duane and Lennox Lewis (Former Heavy Weight Boxing Champion).  Amber and Duane had to work on an song collaboration with Ja Cure (famous reggae artist) so we saw the opportunity.  I asked Marc Ashley (COO) to come along who works constantly so we could review the Shop.com integration, get organized, review strategic plans , and brainstorm on how we can grow faster.  Of course we will talk to Kamal about digital publishing projects, we will be stirring marketing magic with Loren, and we will be talking to Lennox about going into Great Britain with Shop.com and Market America.  But we never miss a beat running the business or staying on top of things or communicating with the management team or field leadership and promoting the business.  We are more in touch than ever.

Before I go to my store ( Web Portal) or do any meetings and conference calls,  I will check MA Messenger for updates and/or important messages and check my email for any important messages.  I answer what is time sensitive and plan to do the rest later or schedule a time to address it.  Of course I check my calendar/schedule, appointments and to do list which run my day and run me.  I make any necessary additions or adjustments.  We all have our hand held mobile devices to keep up with email and text messages all day long so we do not get to far behind and are on top of everything going on no matter where we are.  There is never a idol or wasted minute.  This is especially effective when riding in the car or waiting in line or waiting for someone to arrive (idol time becomes productive time).

The UnFranchise business is perfect for this.  I have my store and place of business or commerce with me everywhere I go—my Web Portal (MarketAmerica.com).  So do you!  I show it to people anywhere I go.  All of my customers and my UFO organization can access the store from wherever they are.  I am open 24 hours 7 days a week.  No need for brick and mortar or driving in to open up shop.  I just have to go online and send people online.  I visit my store online everyday to check on things and see what is going on.  Of course if I have to purchase something it is the easiest and best way to shop because I can search, compare products and prices, get Paid to Shop (ma Cashback) and earn IBV.  No need to run from store to store, fight traffic, wait in lines, or waist time.  I make sure that everything that is bought at all my houses and offices are bought through the portal and all of our consumables are put on auto ship.  The Online Home Shopping List is an incredible tool because it locates everything you need on the portal and allows you to drop it into the cart and you can put it in auto ship.  In the future, everything from diapers, to toilet paper to peanut butter will be able to be put on transfer buying with this and it just comes automatically.

While I am at the store I am going to do some routine things while I am there including visiting my UnFranchise business account.  I may be in my underwear, at the office, at the beach or pool, or in Jamaica or St. Tropez—it doesn’t matter as  I have a cyber or digital office and it is with me everywhere.  I am connected to everyone in my office online with our network on outlook and MA Messenger.  MA Messenger pushes alerts to me of all deals, events, news, etc. that I need to know. I can alert others or instant message a group of people I am working with using MA Messenger.  I have everything I do in electronic files in my computer and backed up on an external hard drive.  I have shared folders with other people who are involved in projects.  I have all of my records, finance, and data at my finger tips.  I have the greatest research library in the world from Google.  So, I can work anywhere and anytime and I (or you) are no longer confined to a physical office or your house. Here is an example of us today in a gorgeous villa in Jamaica at our own private “Internet Café” around the table all working and communicating with our organizations banging out work, creating, and promoting.

While I am at my Store (Market America.com + Shop.com portal) I will go to my executive office in the back of the store UnFranchise business account to place any orders, check volume, and activity or to download audios I need and I will share them or send them to whoever I need.  I can check on anything I need to know about my business, orders, customers, Paid to Shop or my partner UFO’s.  While I am there I will go to the toolbar at the top of the portal which keeps everything important to me live and at my fingers tips so I do not have to find it or navigate around the internet or portal.  I can quickly check anything I need to on the tool bar – it is  like a control panel for my business.

I can see if there are any Hot Deals of interest or that I want to notify my customers or organization of.  I check higher cash back deals to see if I should broadcast anything.  Everything I need is right there if I need it that day: MA Travel, MA TV if I need to show a video or share it with someone, MA radio for audios, the Market America YouTube channel, MA MyWorld/Conquer Entertainment and even notifies me of new emails.  This is equivalent to paging through the old newspaper for me but is more relevant and productive.  I have all news I am interested in pushed to me anyway with Google or news alerts so I get them throughout the day on my handheld as they happen.  I quickly check MA network for Lead Alerts and send out a post or click “Like” on some products with a comment so that it virally travels to friends and spreads.  It automatically post on my profile.

I quickly check the MA blogs, Facebook and Twitter pages for important messages and then if I have time I scroll through my Facebook and Twitter accounts. It lets me know if there are things I want to answer during the day.  Later that day I will go back to Facebook and Twitter to do some cultivating of prospects and to put something out of interest with a picture or link. I usually send them out on the Chatterbox hub because it sends them to Facebook, Chatterbox and Twitter all once.  At night, instead of watching TV, I will spend 15 to 30 minutes on Facebook and Twitter interacting with people (networking) or searching to discover commonalities and prospects (filing the funnel).  I have my hand held with me during the day so I can go back to something I saw and pop a response or post.  All of this takes an hour or less while I have coffee, breakfast or brunch.  My calendar pushes alerts with alarms on my computer and hand helds of any meeting or calls I have as well as things I scheduled for myself – so it is impossible to forget what I need to do next.  I  make calls or meet with people the rest of the day but am wired in at the same time.

Wherever I am I have my office and online store with me.  Add to this the ability to conduct conference calls, video conferencing with the office or other offices, or video conferencing PC to PC, or tying people together on Skype I can conduct meetings from anywhere with people anywhere.  This is a far cry from having to set an appointment and traveling to each person individually!  Webinars are also useful to get people online and talk through a presentation live on the internet or using PowerPoint.  I can show the plan this way.  You can use a two way screen online and the telephone to show the plan or show someone how to establish their UnFranchise business or conduct any instructional training.  This allows me to extend my reach and be in many places at once.  There is nothing like a face to face meeting but I reserve that for the most productive meetings or to spend time with influencers that could lead to a lot of people and business. The point is that I am mobile, out with people and can work all the time from anywhere and accomplish many times more than we could without technology and a digital world.  It really is Easier, Faster, Bigger and  Better.

That being said we can do a lot more and make better use of our time and be more flexible and more productive all the time.  Because of this I can go where I need to go or want to go without ever really being away.  My office is everywhere and everywhere I am promoting and stimulating business, cultivating interest and relationships and making deals.  We can choose where we work.  This allows us to travel, take trips, and plan to be in stimulating environments.  I find this very stimulating and productive as it allows us to be more creative and refreshed and to enjoy the journey.  At the same time we are always creating a story.  Every trip, meeting, event and what you are doing is a story that creates content to attract like thinkers, build credibility, create interest in products or the business, position or brand yourself as a success story or expert, meet new interesting people with whom  you would never have otherwise come in contact.  It’s all about continuously filling the funnel and shaking the bean jar.  Everyday I look at what is happening and what might be of interest to my friends or followers.  What would be helpful or inspiring to the UFO’s and help them reach out to others.  So you are creating a story and what you do and the experiences you have and the people you meet stimulates interest or relationships that lead to the right people.

You are constantly defining and branding yourself as well as promoting the business. MA network is ideal for talking about products, experiences and the business because it automatically posts to your Facebook profile page and when viewers click that they like it,  it goes to their friends and if any of those friends of friends click that they “like” it it goes to their friends.  Anyone that clicks on the product it takes them to your portal to order and you get credit for the person as a preferred customer and they automatically get ma Cashback (Paid to Shop).  Based on likes and profiles MA Network makes customized product recommendations to each user on their mobile phone and the portal.  It also posts leads of people within your thread of contacts or footprint that are interested in a product or opportunity but are not a MA UFO or on MA network.  Invite them to join MA Network and they usually lead to more people and almost always become a customer or Distributor.  It is amazing and I can do it in 5 to 15 minutes a day anywhere I go or on the road.  If it is more than can be said in a  post or tweet,  a link can be made to a blog where you share your thoughts and experiences and can show (pictures and videos) more and explain more.  You can have links from your blog to your portal or to other blogs.  You can drive traffic to your blog from Facebook, MA network, Chatterbox, emails, Twitter.  You can send out a tweet with a link and ask other people connected to you with influence or followings to retweet it.  Retweet alone can be powerful exposure that multiplies. So at the end of the day I spend 15 minutes to an hour to stir it up and let it virally spread. You can take it a step further by organizing your partners or team to create a buzz or interest in an event, product or promotion by everyone systematically posting or tweeting about it.  It is more powerful than advertising.  You can actually create a trend or a craze.  And you do it from your digital cyber office anywhere you are in the world or on the road.  Amazing!In the very near future your portable office will have another cyberspace tool to attract business and drive traffic.  You will be able to get a MA UFO personalized recruiting and retailing website. But it requires discipline and developing a habit.  You need to be come familiar and comfortable with your Portal and know your way around it and you need to learn to use the Social Media and spend 15 minutes to an hour a day online doing these things.  If you can take these steps it will add up to achieving the Director level in a year.
