Lead by example and share your success story

So you want to get ahead in life? Sure, you can follow the conveyor belt in life - school, job, more schooling, family, grandkids, etc... But does that really get you to your own personal goals? A lot of times, we rely on this conveyor belt for our own happiness and to get us to where we want to be.  In most cases, it doesn't because we are left feeling unfulfilled in many key areas.

In March, I went on a ten city tour for the 2011 Market America Blitz Tour, where I spoke to thousands of entrepreneurs on the importance of building an on-going stream of residual income so that they can live the life they've dreamed of instead of someone else's life.

There are obviously numerous ways to get there -- some people are lucky and fall into such a situation. Others must struggle before they finally make it.  One thing though that everyone who strives for success should be doing is to lead by example.  We all want to be somebody, so the best way to do this is to find someone who interests us and to model our own lives after their's.

As I often say, "you cannot lead where you will not go, and you cannot teach what you do not know." By studying someone and then modeling our lives after theirs and leading through our own actions -- helping out others, giving of ourselves, getting involved on social networks by actively showing people your business, becoming a resource and not just a spectator on the sidelines, etc... Together, we all stand to gain more in the long-run. This also becomes a springboard to bigger and better things.

Thing about it - when you want to know something, who do we often seek out? People that are already successful at something, not the person who sits there and waits for things to happen.

To help motivate you all and get you started down the path to success, here's a little exercise.  I would like everyone that attended the 2011 Market America Blitz Tour to take a moment and share their story with us -  we're even running a contest too, with one winner per month receiving a $100 gift card and a 30 minute call with a Blitz Tour Speaker.

The key thing to remember is that by sharing your success story, it also helps motivate others who may have been on the fence, to seek you out because they see your story being similar to their own and are then hungry to learn more.

So are you ready to start leading by example? Get started by entering the "Share Your Success Story" contest.

Keep growing. I believe in you.

JR

JR you are right "you cannot lead where you will not go, and you cannot teach what you do not know." I have followed the UN-franchise business model and am following my way to being a leader (and early retirement too). Thanks for the guidance. I look forward to seeing you in Greensboro with my team.

Due to a schedule conflict, I couldn't see you on the tour however, I did see you JR in NC and Miami. I think I have made every mistake there is to make getting my career launched, however, here I still am growing customers and partners. I know that your marketing plan is the best out there and there are so many who have a need and I love sharing this with them. Currently, I am working three careers. I love them all and don't wish to let any of them go. There is no time left to do Market America, however, I am finding the time because the products work, the people are awesome and this company offers the best plan available for anyone who has drive and ambition. Each day I do one thing to grow my business and assist a team member. By working so many hours, I will not be able to keep up this pace for long. Nor do I want to. When that day comes I know my Market America business is there to allow me to retire in style and then do more charity work. As an artist, I see huge visions. This is what I attempt to help others see as well. JR is a visionary like no other I know. I think I now get that nothing is impossible when you keep hold of the vision. I worked my first year to be earn the UFO status just to show my team that this works even if time is the obstacle. They can't tell me it can't be done, or that it is hard or anything else. I see that there are ways I could do this better and that is my goal for myself this next year. To really understand the system and to perfect it. Then I can pass this on to my business partners. Less time equals working smarter.

I first saw the business when I was 16 and now I am 28. I spent every year afterwards wanting to be free but to scared to take action. But I never gave up hope and never quit the business. Now since the Blitz tour in Minneapolis I have sponsored my first go now and have had over 20 appt and I will not stop till I make it. And by doing so I will make my parents in my upline succeed. Its good to help family. Esspecially when they get 100% of what you do. Thanks Jr :D

You can transition well when moving from walking to running or jumping as your feet feel free and natural compared to more of the bulky basketball shoes.

A typical motion controlled running shoe has the same technology as solutions as their counterpart, the stability shoes, with added upper construction to lock in your feet and give added support.
