Giveaway: Win A Loren Jewels Accessory for Father's Day Featured

A few week's ago, I talked about the Loren Jewels phenomenon that is sweeping Hollywood. The Loren Jewels phenomenon has taken to stratospheric proportions with recent press from InStyle.com, TMZ and JustJared among others on the Loren Jewels press section. To think, this idea really just sprung out of nowhere, friends getting together to relax, what a magic moment! Have you ever had this sort of experience happen?

As an entrepreneur, it is all about seizing the opportunity. Granted, sometimes it is difficult to do this on your own, that's why you need encouragement. A close friend, confidant or business partner will do the trick -- someone to help keep you motivated.  Sure, self-motivation will help drive and steer the engine, but that little boost of confidence that you gain from someone can be a big help. Think about it, where did you decide to attend school, what did you major in? Many of these answers are based around the people that influenced and encouraged you to succeed.

While you're working your way to the top, it is important to remember to keep that entrepreneurial spirit alive -- and to give back to the people that encouraged and motivated you to succeed.

With Father's Day approaching, I wanted to take the time to celebrate the men in our lives who have raised, inspired and guided us. Many of you may see your brother as your father or an uncle whomever it might be this is a special day of the year where we get to celebrate them and show them how much we love and appreciate them.  This Father's day I want to reward your father with a very special gift, one of my favorite pieces from the Loren Jewels collection; the diamond cross macramé bracelet.

    Hello J.R.

I think my father is the bravest man of all because when he fell in love with my mother, his family disowned him because my mom was poor. For the remaining of his live, he has had to deal with not having a family of his own. He was denied the right to attend both of his parents funerals, and through it all, he still loves, respects and forgives them.

Coolest person... He's always keeping up with trends and wants to feel young again, and mostly, because my deceased mother told me so a couple of days before she passed 7 years ago.

Funniest person... Well, he does make jokes all the time, and he has a huge smile (even with a couple of missing teeth). He's the most positive person I know.

Thanks for the chance to enter the giveaway!

    Aloha JR,

I love him because ... he joined the service early in life and overcame hatred and prejudices at a time when this was common for people of color, he worked 2-3 jobs while I was growing up just to make sure we had a roof over our head, clothes on our back, food on the table; he continually instilled in us the value of family and a good education; his family was his life; his home was his safe haven.

I chuckle every time I think about him because ... he was never on time for anything, he always had to be the last person out of the house so he could check (and re-check, and re-check again) to make sure the lights, stove, iron, TV were off, all doors were locked, he absolutely could not stand anyone messing with his well kept yard or touching his head/hair.

I miss him because ... he passed away on December 9, 2006, but he is (literally) with me each and every day because, as it turns out, I look like him, I talk like him, and I even act like him ... MY DAD!

    Mahalo!

My dad, my hero! He is the bravest person I know for a million reasons, I could write a book. My dad taught me all I know, my entrepreneurship, my huge love for family, how to overcome any struggles and stumbles. In 1980 he moved my mom and 2 sisters here from Cuba, leaving behind a very cushy life to come here and have a taste of freedom. With no english and no money we came here and had to start our lives from scratch, my mom and dad struggling to put food in our mouth and a roof over our heads. Their determination to have a comfortable lifestyle was like none I have ever seen, my dad had to have his own business in order to have everything we all wanted and he made it happen, which is where I get my business mind and why Market America is the best deal on the planet for freedom. He is funny because he still has the old school mentality never forgetting where he came from, he always has a big cuban cigar hanging from his mouth no matter if he's washing his car, or just hanging out in the yard. He is 70 years old and cracks on all of us to make us laugh. He is the coolest because he hangs with us whether we are partying, fishing, and if you need him he is right there doing whatever possible to help you out. He reads my powerlines and loves to ask all about Jr and Loren, he loves MA and the products. He is very fashionable at his age, wearing cool clothes like his tanks under his shirts with his cool jewelry, he loves cool jewelry and crosses, I know he would love the Macrame cross bracelet and I would love to put it on his wrist from the Market America family. Thanks JR!

    My dad is the bravest person because he was in Guerrilla warfare back then at the war in China;
    He's the coolest person because he friendly with my friends, gives us snacks when we were drinking beer and hanging out at the apartment;
And he's the funniest person, he likes to share his childhood silly things with us.

Sadly, my father passed away unexpectedly on April 13th, and tomorrow my daughter and I will be traveling together to Washington State to join my mother this weekend to scatter his ashes in one of his favorite places. As we contemplate our first Father's Day (and also his birthday) without him, I'm reminded by what a great example he held up to me of what a man should be. Strong and courageous and always true and kind. And my own entrepreneurial spirit was definitely his doing. My dad always had several business ventures going at a time, and retirement from work didn't change that. He spent his evenings welding swinging fish pole holders, and his days selling them to fishermen at the local lakes. Mornings, he gathered aluminum cans from the local bars, crushed them, sold them, and donated the money to his favorite charity, a nurse's scholarship fund. Dad was one of the good ones. A man I never saw angry, and who was always there when anyone needed a hand. Brave: he served in the Korean War, and married my mother (funny but true). Cool: he epitomized laid-back, and never felt the need to impress anyone. Funny: even though he wasn't feeling well, he didn't miss pulling an April Fool's prank on my mom. I miss him terribly, but count myself fortunate to have been his girl.

My Dad Larry is the bravest man I know because he gave his heart and soul to his work daily to ensure that his family would be taken care of. In 2006 he had a sudden heart aneurysm (non smoker/drinker) and almost died. By the miracle of God and the superior cardiac surgeons at Brigham and Womens Hospital in Boston, MA they saved his life. Once he was out of surgery we talked for a awhile and he looked me in the eyes and told me to make sure you have balance in your life and spend time with your family and friends. Don't work a million hours and give everything you have to an employer who could just as easily dismiss you tomorrow. Know what your worth kid and keep the faith. Always do a good job and keep a positive spirit but leave at a reasonable time. Don't be a cubicle martyr and stay so long at the office that you can't see straight. Enjoy the simple things in life and most of all live every day in Love. My Dad inspires me because although he is 60 now he understands the value of Time and Freedom and to be able to have a healthy quality of life. He still works and is planning on retiring but in the meantime he is pacing himself and learning to stop and smell the flowers each day. I would love to give him a unique Father's Day Gift and let him know that I think he is amazing! Best Stephanie M. Checchi

My dad took me to piano lessons every week consistently for 11 years when the rest of the classroom is filled with moms.
I have only seen him cry once in my life when I got on the plane to US.
He never tell me "it's too hard", he only tells me "you will be No.1"

My dad is the coolest of all because ever since i was a child he has motivated and encouraged me to achieve anything in life and be my own boss. My dad gave me a task of selling 10 copies of newspaper and left me all by myself when i was 8 years old and surprisingly i sold out in 15 minutes; he inspires me to be courageous and bold at times. My dad has visions and he always sees things in the long-run, so when i face failure he is happy for me because i will learn and grow. My dad is the best dad in the world!

My Dad is the bravest because he was a paratrooper in WWII. He had to face grave responsibility and he even had to share a chute when his friends didn't open - lucky for the other guy, my dad was ahead of him. He is the coolest because he taught me and my siblings to be self sufficient and taught us the value of lifelong learning! Things like, gardening, fishing, decorating, how to tie ties, he's now learning from us, his kids. You're nover too old to learn. If you could only hear his stories, he used to go to a great fishing spot and "talk story" to visitors and they'd want to pay him to come back the next day and make them laugh. He talked a great story - like JR.

My Dad was the coolest Dad because he encouraged all his 4 daughters to get a good education. He played with us, taught us how to cook and take care of the "manly" things about a house like the yard, repairs to the furnace and minor plumbing problems. He taught us to behave like ladies and to insist that guys treated us that way!!

Thanks for the consideration JR! ma is the best thing that has happened to my fiancee and me!

Well, I consider myself lucky enough to have two dads.
My real dad cracks me up. He's a goofy, friendly, hard working and is just so easy to like. He's the kind of guy who can talk to anyone and make them laugh. Since I believe laughter is one of the most important aspects about being alive, this...along with just being my dad who I love so much, makes him invaluable.
My step-dad has been an angel to me. From age 8 until now, he never let me feel like a step child. He taught me about credit, about the value of hard work and perseverance I just simply like who he is. Always available to me if I ever need him, he's irreplaceable.

Those are my two dads in a nutshell. I love them both for different reasons and can't imagine my life without either. I guess I'm a testament that sometimes, the cloud of divorce can have it's own silver lining.

My dad is the bravest because he is not afraid to dream big and make those dreams a reality. He is the coolest because of his kind gentle ways and his love of the outdoors. He taught me to fish, swim, ride a bike and shoot a shotgun but more importantly to believe
in myself. I am proud that I have inherited so many of his traits including entrepreneurism as we are both MA Distributors. LIFE IS GOOD!

My father was a HERO! He passed 20 years ago next month. My Father faced many difficult circumstances in life and still shined. My father had a sixth grade education, could not read, lost one leg in an industrial accident when he was 15...and still raised a family of 8 children. He was forced to work for himself because no one would hire a "cripple" during his era. I believe that "Nothing" happens by chance.
He owned many businesses, was able to support his family of "8 kids".
He taught us that no matter what it takes, you "Never give up".
He passed on to me and my siblings the entrepenurial spirit, work hard, and to work for yourself...all eight of us have owned followed in his footsteps by owning our own businesses, mine being Market America. I just wanted to honor my father that I miss sooo much. Thank you for the chance to brag.

My dad is the bravest because, he said I love you for the first time in his life when I was 35. It took courage for him to say it, because he didn't know how to.
He is the coolest because,he's made me hand crafted items, like a beautiful bird house that I will keep for ever. It's a way of saying I love you without actually saying it.
He's the funniest because, I know he's trying to make up for all the years we weren't close, and I know that's why he does special things now. But he doesn't know I know.
He is 76 years old and is the kind of man that I needed him to be when I was a little girl. I say, better late then never. I treasure and love him very much.

My Father is an inspiration to me and my children. He has never spoken an unkind word about anyone. He always encouraged me in my faith in God and showed my by example how to treat others as a Christian. After his retirement he spent most of his time volunteering to help others less fortunate. He valued education and encouraged me to become the first in my family with a college education. Now my children have the same. He sacrificed for his family and showed us all how to value what is the most important in life, your family and your God. I love him very much!

My dad is awesome! When people say "oh you're just like your father" I know it's a compliment! My dad is the strongest, bravest, most committed, loyal, hardest working man that I know. He's suffered so much physical and emotional pain, been kicked and got right back up with a smile! he didn't just work the 45 year plan...he worked his fingers to the bone, gone from my mother and my sister and me for countless hours, days and weeks on end just to keep us ladies happy and healthy. He never gets mad and when he cries...it's either because one of us is hurting or when he thinks back to all the years he missed while we were growing up and he had to work. Now I'm almost 40 and my dad is my biggest fan!!! He is so proud of me and Market America for what this business has allowed so many families to do...be a family!

My father is one of the most amazing men I have ever known. He raised 5 of us kids on a very limited budget yet his love was something we never went without. He was the coolest dad a person could have because as a teenager I can remember going to a party and finding my dad right there having fun, cracking jokes and just being a very supportive and wonderful father. I am blessed to have a dad like mine.

My father is the bravest person I know because despite tremendous challenges and hardship he faces each day with renewed spirit and a happy heart. People of all ages and walks of life love my dad and love to be in his company because of his joie de vie; and that's cool. Having a knack for practical jokes and pranks my father always keeps people laughing and having fun no matter what else is happening.

My Dad is the bravest and coolest man I know because he always follows his dreams, even when he has to risk his economic security to do so. He has been an actor, an artist, and now a playwrite and producer of a local Maine based play called "Light House". He is the funniest man I know, because he lives his life on the edge and enjoys every minute of it. :)

My Dad s the bravest man I know because even when he's scared he gets up and shows the plan to hundreds of people. He is cool because everyone tells him what a great job he did and he's funny because everyone laughs at his jokes when he shows it especially the one about pulling his hair out in corprate America.

Hi JR! I am reposting my comment because I noticed on your blog the start date is June 7th and I sent it too early, I did not want to miss the chance, here's my story again,

Thanks JR!

My dad is the bravest man because he would go around the block and knock on the doors to sell Encyclopedia Britannica, because he believed these books will help kids to be smarter and more educated. He is an entrepreneur and not afraid to be laughed at.

He is also the coolest dad. He would buy a big red heart shaped toy to give to my mom to celebrate her 70th birthday with his big smile.

He is also the funniest dad. When we went to Disney World in Orlando, Florida many years ago, he enjoyed so much and would go take the ride of "It's a small world" in and out for more than 10 times and laughing out loud for becoming a kid again. We all laughed with him seeing him so happy there. He was young at heart for sure. My dearest dad!!!

    Dear JR,

Every time you introduce your dad and mom in the audience in Greensboro or Miami convention, your action deeply touched my heart. They must be very proud of you, having such a wonderful son. You showed your pride with them too. Actually, you showed the whole audience what family value is, it's priceless and money can't buy with such bondness. You are a true leader!!!

My Dad - a simple and great man. Gave when he had little to give - Believed when there was little to believe in - dreamed when it felt impossible to dream. Dad carried the cross for his family and had deep faith. I am the luckiest girl in the world - my Dad is the BEST!

My dad was the bravest man I knew because he had a shot gun behind every door in our house (we lived in the country) & everytime he heard a noise outside he would grab the gun & run to see what it was, whether it was day or night. He was the coolest dad because he shared one bathroom with 4 daughters, plus our mother, & if he needed to "use" it, he would go outside & never said a word. He was the funniest dad because when I or one of my 3 sisters brought a beau home to meet the folks, he would bury himself in the newspaper & pretend they weren't there (of course they all saw the shot gun behind the door as we were leaving for our date), needless to say, dad didn't miss a beat! He would be so proud of his 4 girls, we all inherited his entrepreneurial skills. Happy Father's Day

When I was little, my Dad protected me from everything; spiders, heights, anything I was afraid of; I was always curled up in his lap every evening; he was in the Marines and is one of the bravest men I know! He's the coolest, because he's always worked so hard for our family to provide for all our needs, loved us all with his whole heart, he's a truthful man of integrity, and as he's grown older, he's always taken up new hobbies like bee keeping, woodworking and wine making; he's never given up or quit anything! He makes me smile when I think of him, he's funny with our daughters when he teases them and we always are laughing the night away when we are fortunate enough to play a game of dominoes with him and Mom. He's the Best Dad a girl could ever have! Happy Father's Day Dad!

My dad is the funniest dad because he always can find a way to make people happy and laugh all the time with those funny jokes.
My dad is coolest dad that he never stop learning, always improve himself in many different ways, persistently and consistently.

My Dad is the Bravest, Coolest and Funniest dad because he is never afraid to be himself, the loving father, supportive husband and greatest Grandpa in the world. He is adventurous likes to go boating, scuba diving and camping with our family and friends. And he is the funniest because I don't know any other Dads that are willing to dress up in crazy hats and ugly shirts to be the head chef at the annual family picnic!

I will always be proud of my dad for all of the lives he saved and his commitment to keeping others safe as the bravest community firefighter. My dad is the coolest because he always brags about his little girl (me) and his grandchildren. My dad is the funniest because he has done the same silly jokes all my life and now he uses them on my kids to make them laugh hysterically just like I did!!

He was the bravest because he never voiced a single complaint about the hard time's.
The coolest because he would always find stuff to do with us not just near us.
The funniest because he'd sing a funny song or tell a funny story or even act like a crazy tickle monster, just because he saw you not smiling.

I am entering this because I would love to give this to one of my sons, who is a single father of four--ages 5 to 12! He is a very calming influence in their lives, and always there to share, play, talk with them, bringing them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord--while still keeping work satisfied, as well as helping his newly disabled mom (me) whenever possible. Thank you for the opportunity to win such a beautiful piece of jewelry to give!

I was called by Danny Serafini to be in a drumoff for a new rock band with horns and a big band kind of sound forming in the Chicagoland area in the 60"s. When my dad found out I was accepted to dental school, we went "for a ride" to talk things out, ie, do the drum off with Danny Serafini or dental school. He was brave because he knew I would win the drumoff, but had to try to help me; he was cool because he did; he was funny because (the band was to be called the Chicago Transit Authority- today known as Chicago) he asked me if I wanted to be behind some guitar player while someone was dancing with my girl on New Year's Eve.

My dad is the bravest because even in the face of Alzheimer's disease he has still kept his sense of humor. Forty-five years ago I gave my dad a red hankerchief as a present before he went deer hunting; he used his "lucky hankerchief" every deer season for almost 40 years until he couldn't hunt anymore. My dad is the funniest person because even though the Alzheimer's has stolen his ability to speak, he can still make us laugh by letting out a hoot or a howl and then a big bellowing laugh;)

My dad is the and coolest for having to raise 6 girls and one boy while being the only money earner in our home. I learned to be an entrepreneur thru watching my dad earn that money from being brave enough to work every day for 40 years, at the same job then come home and run his machine shop out of the garage until late at night, and also try to build MLM's along side. He is the coolest because at age 73, he became my business partner in MA and is earning checks!

"Son, I know you don't want to leave us, but the land of dreams, and life itself will work the best to make you a real man. Go for it!" My father sent me to the US when I was 17 years old, all alone. He knew what's the best for me to grow.
    "
"Son, I know it's painful, but it didn't kill you, will only make you stronger, keep your heads up, and move forward, it is exactly how you grow stronger." 2007-2009 I lost almost all my savings in the stock market, my dad helped me to get back on my feet.

"Son, I don't know anything about this MA thing, 'cause I'm not in the US. But I believe in you, I believe after all these years, and what you've been through, you have the knowledge to made the right decision. I got your back, Son, Go for it." He called me from China, When I just started my MA biz, and my "friends" bad mouths on me to my Dad.

This is my father, a normal hard working people lives in China. Maybe not the funniest, and the coolest, I love him the most.
